Posing for Pink, a breast cancer group based in Minneapolis, has come up with a unique way to give homage to those diagnosed with breast cancer just in time for the Breast Cancer 3Day Walk; an implied nudity calendar. The calendar features a breast cancer survivor and some of her family and friends.

Started by two sisters, Posing for Pink, honors their mother who is the breast cancer survivor, and pays tribute to all those affected by breast cancer. The calendar features local women who were photographed in the classic pin-up girl calendar style. Skipping the “naughty” but keeping the “wink, wink” the calendar shows the beauty of the female form and each girls individual beauty.

Net proceeds from the calendar sales will benefit the Twin Cities Breast Cancer 3Day Walk, Susan G Komen for the Cure, and The National Philanthropic Trust funding important breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment.

Thank you, again, to the Music Box Theatre in Minneapolis for hosting our Calendar Release Party. It was a smashing success and we were able to raise almost $2,200 in one night in the fight against breast cancer!

Due to the smashing success of the 2010 Baring it all for Breast Cancer Calendar, Posing for Pink has started production on a 2011 Calendar. The calendar is set to shoot in March of 2010. Check back for updates!
